YANKEES: Gerrit Cole allowed just one run over six innings on Monday, and has allowed just one run in his last 18.0 innings (since the second inning on Aug. 3 versus Seattle). Cole had his 15 scorelessinning streak snapped with his run allowed in the fourth inning on Monday. It was Cole’s secondlongest scoreless stretch of the season (18 2/3 innings from April 24-May 8).

RAYS: Yandy Diaz doubled in the third inning on Monday and delivered a tworun single in the ninth inning. It marked his first multi-hit game since July 27 at Baltimore.
