NFL: Chiefs’ Clark busted with Uzi

Chiefs pass-rusher Frank Clark is facing a felony weapons charge — illegal possession of a firearm — following his Sunday night arrest in Los Angeles, according to TMZ on Monday.

TMZ said Clark, driving a Lamborghini SUV, was found to be carrying an Uzi when pulled over at 9:20 p.m. on a traffic stop.

Jail records show Clark posted $35,000 bond and was released Monday afternoon.

Clark, 28, was selected to the Pro Bowl in both 2019 and 2020 for the Chiefs, and has collected 49 sacks over his six seasons with the Seahawks (2015-18) and Chiefs (2019-20).

Vikings rookie defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman is recovering from four gunshot wounds in his native Washington that caused scary but superficial injuries after bullets hit a vehicle he was riding in on Monday, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus. Twyman, a sixth-round pick out of Pittsburgh, does not need surgery and is expected to make a full recovery from the exit wounds to his arm, shoulder, buttocks and leg. Two other men reportedly also had nonfatal wounds from the shooting.
