Tiger scare in 'burban jungle'
A Bengal tiger was spotted on the loose in a Houston suburb on Sunday night — with a responding off-duty cop pulling a gun on the wild beast before its owner allegedly sped off with the big cat.
Neighbors reported seeing a tiger roaming the neighborhood in Fleetwood at around 8 p.m., Houston’s NBC affiliate reported.
Viral video shows Waller County Deputy Wes Manion (above) aiming his service weapon at the tiger, yelling, “Get the f--k back inside. F--k you and your f-king tiger” before a man emerged from a home shouting back, “Don’t shoot, don’t shoot.”
Houston police on Monday identified the alleged owner as Victor Cuevas, 28. The suspect, out on bond on a 2017 murder charge, put the tiger in a white SUV and fled after the confrontation, cops said.
