Bashed out of blue on the Q

A stranger pummeled a 29-year-old woman in an unprovoked attack on a Brooklyn train late last month, cops said.

The victim was standing on a Manhattan-bound Q train approaching Atlantic Avenue around 8:10 p.m. May 23 when a man — believed to be in his 60s — punched her multiple times in the face without saying a word, police said.

The assailant got off the train and fled, police said. Surveillance footage released late Thursday shows him leaving the station.

The victim was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was treated and listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, authorities said.

In a more recent assault in the city’s underground, an 18-year-old high schooler on her way to get her hair done for prom was shoved onto Queens subway tracks Monday morning.

The teen, Sarah Arias, got back onto the platform on her own. She suffered a cut on her knee — but still made it to her hair appointment and to prom.

Shemecca Wise, 26, was arrested on attempted murder and assault charges, authorities said.

And Thursday morning, an attacker randomly slashed a 54-year-old man with a switchblade on a subway platform in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, cops said.
