Grist for the Mills

STEPHANIE Mills, who starred as Dorothy in the smash ’70s musical “The Wiz,” says she was surrounded by drugs in showbiz in that era. But the Drama Desk Award winner (above) credits her independence to keeping her on the straight and narrow. “I was just so glad I never got into drugs,” she told us. “Not to say that it wasn’t around me . . . but I’ve never been a follower. No alcohol. None of that whatsoever.” She next stars in Lifetime’s “Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Story.”
