2 shot dead in Astoria

Two men were shot and killed in Queens on Friday night, the NYPD said.

The victims were both found with gunshot wounds to the torso near the intersection of Steinway Street and 25th Avenue in Astoria around 10:30 p.m., police said.

The men were transported to Elmhurst Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to cops.

Police did not immediately provide additional information on the double homicide.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
