Motorcade and guards but no cuffs

Donald Trump won’t be put in handcuffs when he turns himself in to be formally arrested next week, his lawyer said Friday — insisting he’s “ready to fight” his hush-money case.
Trump, 76, will be flanked by Secret Service when he arrives for his scheduled arraignment in Manhattan at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to face fraud charges tied to hush-money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
He’ll be guarded by a full highway motorcade, as well as helicopters, as he travels to the courthouse, sources told The Post. A bomb squad, emergencyservice teams, an ambulance and a hazmat crew will also be on hand.
But once he arrives, Trump will likely be booked just like anyone else facing charges — mug shot and all.
The 45th president, whose lawyer insists there’s “zero” chance he’ll buckle and seek a plea deal, will almost certainly be released right after his arraignment. Sources say he’s scheduled to head directly to La Guardia Airport after the court proceedings.
Meanwhile, Gov. Hochul said Friday that New York’s National Guard and State Police were ready to assist the Big Apple if needed.
