Trump is my hero!

Ye’s racist pal says of ex-prez:

By MARY KAY LINGE and JON LEVINE

White nationalist Nick Fuentes told ex-President Donald Trump he was his “hero” and “one of the greatest Americans that ever lived” when he dined with him alongside Kanye West at Mara-Lago this week.

In a two-hour video posted to social media late Friday, Fuentes (inset) confirmed details of the controversial Tuesday night meal — and said he was “embarrassed” that the incident had blown up into what he called “a little bit of a scandal” for the former president.

“I don’t think he knew that I was me at the dinner,” Fuentes said with a grin.

“I said, ‘I love you,’ ” he added. “He really has been a hero of mine.”

Fuentes, 24, attended racist demonstrations in Charlottesville, Va., in 2017 and sparked outrage in 2019 for a video in which he implied that 6 million Jews were not slaughtered by Nazi Germany.

He later called the clip a “lampoon” and claimed he had “never denied the Holocaust.”

On Friday, Fuentes said he told Trump he was disappointed by the “moderate” tone of Trump’s Nov. 15 speech announcing a third White House bid.

“We’ve been told for years we have to favor an incremental, quietist approach,” he railed. “You know what? Five hundred miles of 18-foot bollard fence? Not a real victory. USMCA [trade pact], not a real victory . . . we want a real victory, a real transformation of our society.”

“A race between Donald Trump and [Florida Gov.] Ron DeSantis — Donald Trump, as he is running right now, about ‘the radical left’ and inflation, versus DeSantis, it just isn’t what the country needs right now. That dialectic, DeSantis and a moderate Trump, it’s a huge retreat from 2016.”

President Biden, vacationing on Nantucket, weighed in on the controversy as he shopped in the tony boutiques of the island’s Main Street.

“You don’t want to know what I think” about Trump’s tête-à-tête with West and Fuentes, Biden told reporters.

Trump himself arranged the dinner with West, a person close to Trump told The Post, “and then Kanye showed up with those knuckleheads.

“The question is who added their names to the guest list,” the source continued, bemoaning the former president’s “awful” post-White House staff.

Trump Saturday ranted about the meeting on Truth Social.

“So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black, Ye (Kanye West), who has been decimated in his business and virtually everything else, and who has always been good to me, by allowing his request for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago, alone, so that I can give him very much needed ‘advice,’ ” Trump said.

“He shows up with 3 people, two of which I didn’t know, the other a political person who I haven’t seen in years. I told him don’t run for office, a total waste of time, can’t win.”
