It has already taken in $597 million in global sales since its Nov. 11 debut, including $340 million at US theaters.
Disney’s computer animated sci-fi adventure “Strange World,” released on Wednesday, came in a distant second with $5.2 million in sales.
Coming in third with a $2.4 million take was “Devotion,” based on the real friendship between the Navy’s first black aviator and a white pilot in Korea.
