TRAINING DAY

— Paul Schwartz

A LE GUP

How about Graham Gano? There is plenty of evidence just how good he is, and he made it look easy on a 75-degree morning. He was perfect on his field-goal attempts, finishing off by nailing a 58-yarder that had no trouble sailing through the uprights with plenty of room to spare.

COA CHS PEAK

Bill Cowher, CBS analyst and two-time Super Bowl winning head coach of the Steelers, watched practice and chatted with Brian Daboll. Remember all those Cowher-to-the-Giants rumors that circulated around the league for years? Good times.

CAUGHT MY EYE

The 75-minute practice was the shortest of camp. Players were not in pads and there was no 11-on-11 team work. There were seven-on-seven drills in helmets and shells. RB Saquon Barkley was given a rest day.

MEDICA LR EPORT

WR Kadarius Toney returned to participate in individual drills, a sign he is making progress. Not practicing: TE Ricky Seals-Jones ,LB Blake Martinez, OLB Elerson Smith ,OL Shane Lemieux, RB Gary Brightwell ,RB Matt Breida ,OL Jon Feliciano ,OLJ osh Ezeudu ,OL Jamil Douglas ,CB Cor’Dale Flott ,CB Rodarius Williams, OLB Jihad Ward.
