Don: It’s ‘show’ time, FBI

Former President Donald Trump demanded the “immediate release” of the “completely unredacted affidavit” behind what he calls the “horrible and shocking BREAK-IN” at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump, 76, made the push on his Truth Social platform late Monday, hours after the Justice Department said it opposed the affidavit’s release because the action would be “highly likely to compromise future investigative steps.”

A federal judge in Florida said he would hear arguments Thursday about unsealing the document, which has evidence and testimony used to justify the FBI’s search warrant.

“There is no way to justify the unannounced RAID of Mar-a-Lago . . . by a very large number of gun-toting FBI Agents, and the Department of ‘Justice,” wrote the former commander in chief.

Trump’s demand came after the DOJ objected to unsealing the affidavit, warning that it “implicates highly classified material” as well as “highly sensitive information about witnesses” and “specific investigative techniques.”
