MIKA ZIBANEJAD
Zibanejad opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first period, assisted Chris Kreider’s goal and had by far his most effective game of this series as reshuffled line combinations helped open things up
CHRIS KREIDER
After a disappearing act early in the series, Kreider got on the board for the first time with a second-period goal and finished with four shots on net.
KEY MOMENT
Zibanejad’s goal at 11:54 of the first came during a period when the Hurricanes had been knocking on the door for some time and it swung the momentum back to the Rangers before Carolina could take an early lead.
