THE GOSPEL OF KANYE

Rapper has ‘Holy Trinity’ of reasons for winning back Kardashian

By SARA NATHAN and MARA SIEGLER

KANYE West has a sacred list that explains why he wants to get back together with estranged wife Kim Kardashian. “He calls the reasons for winning back Kim ‘The Holy Trinity,’ ” a friend of the rapper told The Post. One: “He isn’t sure if any other woman is going to be able to put up with him. He is a lot — and Kim is already used to everything. He doesn’t have to explain things to her. She knows how to put up with him when he is going through his dark days.

Two: “The second reason is the kids” — daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2.

Three: “As a religious person, he doesn’t want to get a divorce.”

Actually, there’s one more: “He also cares about his image. He thinks [Kardashian] looks good next to him.”

A representative for West did not return requests for comment.

The billionaire rapper — now legally known as “Ye” — is in a “sentimental mindset right now, that’s for sure,” a Kardashian family source told The Post.

But, the family source added, in the words of West’s nemesis Taylor Swift, he and Kim are never, ever, ever getting back together: “She’s still moving forward with the divorce.”

Nonetheless, the pair made their first public appearance together since Kardashian started dating “Saturday Night Live” ladies’ man Pete Davidson in October, as they reunited to pay tribute to their close friend Virgil Abloh in Miami.

West was one of the few people who knew that Abloh — the artistic director of menswear for Louis Vuitton and founder of Off-White — was sick during the designer’s two-year battle with a rare form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma, sources who know West told The Post.

The Kardashian family source said that as word began to spread about Abloh’s tragic death at age 41, the estranged couple jumped on the phone together.

“It was Kanye who first hired Virgil, then Kim got to know him and his wife and kids. But she’s just trying to move forward and co-parent. And even though they’re no longer together, Kim wants to be supportive of Kanye.”

A representative for Kardashian had no comment.

Although a West insider said Abloh’s death “isn’t affecting how Kanye feels about his wife,” the star has been more vocal than ever about his love for the mother of his four children.

HE made a plea to his wife last week in a five-minute video titled “Thanksgiving Prayer,” which he posted to Instagram. He has since cleared his entire account.

“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” West said. “I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: mis-actions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”

The rapper went on to acknowledge many of his “mis-actions,” from how his “hair-trigger temper” was “heightened” by alcohol, to how his family had to “endure” his manic “episodes,” referring to his bipolar disorder.

As Page Six exclusively revealed, Kardashian, 41, filed for divorce from West, 44, in February after nearly seven years of marriage.

But as Kardashian continues full steam ahead with the divorce, spearheaded by top lawyer Laura Wasser, sources confirm, West believes they will get back together.

Asked about Kardashian’s new romance with Davidson — who previously wooed model Kaia Gerber,

singer Ariana Grande and actresses Kate Beckinsale, Phoebe Dynevor and Margaret Qualley — the West friend scoffed: “[West] is not intimidated by a comic from Staten Island — hell no. But still he’s annoyed and surprised she found happiness, for the moment, so quickly. He figured she would be in the gray area for a couple of years.”

At the Los Angeles Mission’s annual Thanksgiving event last week, West announced: “I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I’m here to change the narrative.”

The rapper then said he wasn't going to let E! and Hulu — the two networks associated with the Kardashian-Jenner family and their reality shows — “write the narrative of his family . . . I am the priest of my own home.”

“If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is OK . . . but when God brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store,” West concluded.

But West’s very public proclamations are reportedly having no sway with Kardashian.

The Kardashian family source said Kim had “obviously” seen all of West’s words, but added: “Kim is still moving forward with everything, and she’s still dating Pete . . . She doesn’t have any plans to get back together with Kanye at all.

“I do think that Kim’s kids are the most important thing to her, and having a great co-parenting relationship with their dad is so important.”

IN July 2020, Kardashian spoke for the first time about her husband’s battle with mentalhealth issues after he made a series of worrying statements.

At a South Carolina rally, West opened up about the couple’s decision to have North West — after considering an abortion.

This was followed by a series of since-deleted tweets in which he alleged that his wife and motherin-law, Kris Jenner, attempted to “lock him up” and that he was trying to divorce Kardashian.

The reality star asked for compassion for her husband, writing on Instagram: “As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder.

“Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand . . . He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bipolar disorder.

“Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions.”

The Kardashian friend told The Post: “I think it was very hard for Kim to put something out publicly about Kanye . . . She did it only because it was helpful to him — not for her . . . She doesn’t feel like she ever has to justify herself.”

Another source who knows the Kardashian family said: “Kim is being very protective of Kanye, so he doesn’t crash and burn again.”

Although West has in recent months been linked to models Irina Shayk and Vinetria — with whom he was seen last month at his Donda Academy’s debut basketball game in Minneapolis — “It's all bulls- -t,” the West friend said.

“Kim’s most important thing is they are both there for the kids,” added the Kardashian family source. “The kids are so close to both of them.

“There are, of course, ups and downs in Kim and Kanye’s relationship as they navigate their divorce. But they are not getting back together, as much as Kanye might want to.”
