Fla. cops kill ‘knife’ teen

Police in Melbourne, Fla., and campus security fatally shot a Florida Institute of Technology student who allegedly chased dorm residents with a knife and then lunged at an officer with the weapon, authorities said.

Officers responded to Roberts Hall on Friday night to reports of “a male . . . armed with a knife and assaulting students,” according to the Melbourne Police Department.

The suspect died at the scene.

He was later identified as Alhaji Sow, 18, Florida Today reported. One cop was injured.
