Star-crossed duo

AND they said it wouldn’t last. CrossFit co-founder Lauren Jenai and Franklin Tyrone Tucker are living apart after just over a year of marriage, Page Six has learned. The couple’s romance began when he was behind bars and she was fighting for his innocence. But it seems the intense pressures of the case, plus Tucker’s ongoing house arrest, were too much. Jenai and Tucker wed in a home ceremony, with the groom under house arrest, after he was released on $2 million bond. Tucker maintains his innocence in a Florida Keys case known as the Treehouse Murder, and Jenai has fought to prove he’s being wrongly prosecuted. As of Sunday, both Jenai and Tucker’s Facebook statuses said “single.” But by Monday, Tucker had changed his status back to “married.” He’d also posted — then deleted — comments on Facebook Sunday, including, “Well even though I’m not officially divorced it does appear that I’m single again.” Jenai reportedly sold her CrossFit shares for around $20 million as part of her divorce with the brand’s cofounder and CEO in 2013. Tucker confirmed to Page Six: “We’re living apart at the moment.” Jenai, who married without a prenup, told us she’s standing by him in his legal case. “I feel like he and I are in a separation,” she said, adding, “The reason I got involved in this case in the beginning, those reasons still exist. Nothing about Ty and my marital status . . . has any bearing on how I feel about his innocence.” He’s still awaiting a criminal trial and filing a civil suit against authorities in Monroe County, Fla.
