J-Rod are ships in the night

ALTHOUGH they broke up in April, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have both decamped to yachts on the French Riviera to celebrate their birthdays. And since A-Rod’s boat and the SS J.Lo are both floating in the Mediterranean around St-Tropez, sources said they nearly ran into each other on Sunday.

Lopez, who turned 52 on Saturday, celebrated her birthday with new-old beau Ben Affleck onboard. She posted a slideshow of her posing in a bikini on a deck — including one in which she and the Oscar winner are making out, the first public confirmation from either of the lovers of their rekindled romance. Paparazzi caught shots of Affleck on the vessel caressing J.Lo’s famed posterior — we’ll leave the “poop deck” jokes to you — as she sunbathed, just as he famously did in her 2002 “Jenny From the Block” video when the pair were engaged.

J.Lo was then seen on Monday in Monaco wearing a necklace reading “BEN” in gold block letters.

Meanwhile, her most recent ex-fiancé, Rodriguez, has been on his own boat. We hear the former Yankee star has been hanging with “NFL on CBS” broadcaster Melanie Collins in St-Tropez, leading overheated fans to speculate that the sideline sports reporter is his new main squeeze. But sources exclusively tell Page

Six that the two, who were also spotted at a luxe lunch with a group, are just friends. They were introduced via mutual pals, country singer Jessie James Decker and ex-NFL player Eric Decker, whom Collins is traveling with.

We hear she will be at A-Rod’s 46th birthday party tonight for 50 guests.

A-Rod and J.Lo apparently nearly crossed paths on Sunday when, a spy said, “he was having fun with a group and a blond woman at [beachside hot spot] Bagatelle while J.Lo was on the water.” It’s unclear if the blond woman was Collins, who was last linked to NHL player James Neal, but the duo has not posted images of each other on Instagram since 2017.
