Kyle, Cubs clobber Cleveland

Stitches@nypost.com

Blah, Blah, Blah. Sure the Nets would have bucked the Bucks if the Big 3 were healthy. But Snap, Crackle and Pop played together for about 32 minutes this season. Primary Day is Anniversary Day. Not sure who to rank on top. But after 30 years of putting up with my nonsense, I hereby nominate Mrs. Stitches for sainthood. She knew she was in trouble after the first 32 minutes, too.

The Cubs’ Kyle Hendricks (9-4, 4.13 ERA) won for us at Citi Field last Thursday. Shut out the Mets over six, allowing two harmless hits. Hendricks is 7-0 in his last seven. Nothing deGrom-like as he’s give up 13 runs over the 46-inning span, but Chicago hits for him. Indians invade Wrigley. Eli Morgan (0-1, 12.79 ERA) will make his second start since being recalled from Triple-A Columbus. Threw at home against the Orioles on Thursday, and Baltimore scored thrice in 3 2/3 innings. 20 units on the Cubs.

Yawn ... Astros overpowered the Orioles 10-2 in a rain-delayed sleeper. O’s didn’t get a hit until the eighth inning. Loss has us at -1,548 boogpowells.
