Cry to KO turbulent fliers
A group representing major US airlines and aviation unions on Monday wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking the Justice Department to prosecute the growing number of disruptive and violent air passengers.
The Federal Aviation Administration has pursued enforcement actions more than 400 times in the first five months of 2021, compared to a year-end total of 146 in 2019.
