Adams urges stabbed volunteer to cooperate

Mayoral front-runner Eric Adams said Monday he would urge a campaign volunteer who was viciously stabbed in broad daylight on a Bronx street to cooperate with police.
The victim, 42, who has not been identified, was stabbed multiple times at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday while walking along Morris Avenue — and left in a pool of blood.
The Brooklyn borough president said that he visited the wounded worker after the incident and would do so again in an effort to get him to help cops identify his attacker.
Adams said the volunteer had a lengthy criminal history but had “turned his life around” after coming to work on his campaign.
“He was a volunteer, not staffer,” Adams said.
