METS: Stroman took the loss on Wednesday at St. Louis after allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits over five innings with a walk and six strikeouts. He allowed a season high two home runs after allowing only one homer in his first five starts.

ORIOLES: John Means’ no-hitter on Wednesday marked the Orioles’ first since 1991 and their first by a single pitcher since Jim Palmer in 1969. He also earned AL Player of the Week honors, the first Orioles pitcher to get the honor since Arthur Rhodes in 1994. Over his past three starts, Means is 3-0 with a 1.21 ERA, 27 strikeouts, four walks and a .070 opponent average.
