It wasn’t his brightest idea. An Australian teenager has been arrested after he allegedly flashed a laser at a plane trying to land.

The 16-year-old boy aimed the green beam from the backyard of his home into the path of a commercial flight landing at Sydney’s airport. A helicopter sent to investigate was also targeted by the laser, impacting an officer on board.
